I already use AcyMailing. Do I still need EasySMTP?
AcyMailing and EasySMTP solve different problems. Is EasySMTP only a replacement for Joomla's SMTP settings?

What happens if my primary email provider fails?
You can configure a backup provider. With Automatic Failover, EasySMTP can attempt delivery through the secondary provider when the primary provider fails.
Can I use Gmail or Microsoft 365 securely?
EasySMTP supports OAuth2 authentication for Gmail / Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365, so supported accounts can use modern provider authentication instead of relying only on traditional SMTP username/password authentication.
Can EasySMTP show whether an email was opened or a link was clicked?
For tracked emails, EasySMTP can record available open and click activity and associate it with the corresponding mail log. Available device, platform and geographic information can also be shown.
Some email clients and privacy technologies can block or alter tracking data, so open tracking should not be treated as absolute delivery confirmation.
Do I need to modify Joomla core files?
No. EasySMTP integrates with Joomla's mail handling without requiring Joomla core-file modifications.
Does EasySMTP guarantee inbox delivery?
No email extension can guarantee inbox placement. EasySMTP improves visibility, management and delivery resilience, while final inbox placement can also depend on your provider, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain reputation, recipient server and spam filtering.
